A great way to communicate with multiple users at once

Team chats allow you to create chat groups and share relevant information with multiple employees at once. Team members can send messages and a variety of attachments to communicate with ease. All team members who are a part of the team chat will have the ability to see and respond to the messages. In this article, you will understand how to create and assign users to a team chat.

You can create a team chat on the mobile app or dashboard. Although the process is slightly different, they are both very simple to do.

How to create a team chat on the dashboard

  1. Go to the Chat feature.

  2. Click Add new.

  3. Choose New team.

  4. Here you will be able to create a Team name, add a description, and attachments. The required image size for a team chat's profile picture is 40x40 pixels.

  5. Now you will be able to assign the chat to either smart groups or selected users.

6. If you selected Smart groups you will be able to continue to Summary and Confirm. If you selected individual users you will need to select Team Chat Admins before hitting confirm.

How to create a team chat on the mobile app

  1. Go to the Chat feature.

  2. Press on the + at the top right corner.

  3. Press on New team.

  4. Select the users you will want to create a team chat with.

  5. Click on the ✔️ located at the top right corner.

  6. Here you will be able to set team information such as team name, description, and attachments.

  7. Click on the ✔️ in order to finalize the steps

💡 Tip: Team chats can also be created by your employees if permitted to do so in the Team chat settings.
