Streamline your workflow by integrating Connecteam with your essential apps using Zapier, no coding is needed. Please note that the Zapier integration is available on the Advanced plan (or higher), for any hub.

What is Zapier?

Zapier is an automation platform that connects over 3,000 web apps, allowing users to create custom workflows to automate repetitive tasks. It simplifies integration and automation processes without requiring coding skills, enhancing productivity and efficiency across multiple applications.

Each connection made through Zapier is known as a Zap. Every Zap consists of a trigger and one or more actions. A trigger is an event that starts a Zap, and an action is an event a Zap performs.

What Connecteam triggers are available in Zapier?

  • New User: Triggers when a new user is created.

  • New Shift: Triggers when a new shift is created.

  • New Form Submission: Triggers when a new form is submitted.

What Connecteam actions are available in Zapier?

  • Create Job

  • Create Shift

  • Update Shift

  • Delete Shift

  • Update Form Submission

  • Create user

There are also search actions available that help you find the necessary information to complete your Zap when needed:

  • Find Form: Find a form by its name.

  • Find Job: Find a job by its name.

  • Find Shift: Finds shifts within a specified date range.

  • Find Form Submission: Finds form submissions within a specified date range.

  • Find User: Finds a user by their unique identifier, full name, phone number or email.

How to Integrate Zapier with Connecteam

  1. Sign up for Zapier (which offers a free plan as well as paid plans that scale with usage).

  2. Create a new Zap, choosing from Connecteam triggers or actions.

  3. When prompted during the creation of your Connecteam Zap, provide the Zapier API key to allow Zapier access to your Connecteam account.

  4. Navigate to the Settings page in Connecteam.

  5. Access the Zapier API key tab located within the Integration keys section.

  6. Click on "Generate Zapier API key", copy the key, then paste it into the Zapier access window and click "Continue".

  7. Complete the creation of your Connecteam Zap.

  8. The Zap creation process includes a test to verify the Zap's functionality before it is fully activated—ensure it performs as expected.

  9. Once the Zap has been created and successfully tested, remember to turn it on.
