Important to Know:

When setting up a new Create Shift action, it is crucial to correctly configure the Start Time and End Time fields. Due to the nature of creating shifts in Connecteam, it is important to keep the following points in mind:

  1. Required Field Format:

    • The fields must include 'Start date', 'Start time', and 'GMT' information, all in one line, separated by spaces.

  2. Timezone Specifications:

    • If 'GMT' is not specified, the start and end times might differ from your intended schedule.

    • If the timezone field is left unspecified, the Zap will be created using the Connecteam scheduler's default timezone.

Example of Correct Setup Values in the Fields (you can modify the date format):

  • Start Time/Date Field:
    21/02/2025 10:30AM GMT

  • End Time/Date Field:
    21/02/2025 11:30AM GMT

By ensuring that each time field includes the start date, start time, and GMT information, you avoid discrepancies in your intended shift schedules. Properly specifying the timezone ensures consistency and accuracy in shift management on Connecteam.
