You can set different overtime and pay rules for specific hours and days by using the Overtime & Pay Rules tab in the Time Clock settings.
Follow These Steps To Set Things Up:
Navigate to the Time Clock, enter Settings, and click on Overtime & Pay Rules.
Select +Add Rule.
Name your rule and if needed add a code such as WKND, x1.5, etc. For example, you can name your rule 'Weekend'.
Next, set the rule type that best fits your company's needs: either Overtime or an Additional hourly rate.
For overtime set the multiplier that the employee's base wage should be multiplied by.
For additional hours, add the amount per hour that should be added to the employee's base wage.
5. Now, add the condition for when the overtime or pay rules apply. In this case, we recommend you add the condition 'Partial Day'. This allows you to select specific days and hours for the rule to apply. So, for instance, to set a rule for the weekend, select Friday to Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You can apply this rule to other specific hours based on your company's needs.

💡Tip: Multiple conditions can be applied to the same policy. However, when creating a rule for multiple or additional rates, such as x1.5, you will not be able to apply that rate to multiple rules. You will receive a message indicating that the multiplier was already used in a rule and that you can edit the conditions of that rule or add another multiplier to the rule you are creating.
