Track Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) such as Sales Data

Many businesses need to track the performance of individual employees, especially in sales environments. Connecteam's user performance tracking capability enables you to monitor sales metrics for each team member, helping you identify top performers, pinpoint areas for improvement, and make informed, data-driven decisions.

Activating Performance Tracking for Your Employees

  1. Navigate to the 'User' page

  2. Click on 'Settings' on the top right

  3. Activate the Performance tracking by clicking on 'Get Started'

Add Your Key Performance Indicators

Once you've activated performance tracking, complete these steps:

  1. Toggle on performance tracking on the top - this gives each employee a clear view of their performance.

  2. Create sets of indicators and assign them - Create your indicators, for instance, total sales and units sold, and assign the set of indicators to either specific users or smart groups, for instance, your sales team. You can then decide if it's a currency or a unit that you wish to measure in the settings. Repeat the process if you wish to create a new set of KPI's for another group of employees by clicking on add set at the top right.

    💡 Tip: After you've added your KPI's, you can easily import them for your employees!

Adding Performance Data per Employee

Once you're done with the setup, navigate to the user page, enter your employee's 'Performance Tab', and manually add the relevant indicators, such as their total sales for the day or the number of wine bottles sold (as shown in the example below).

How it Will Appear In the Admin Dashboard

When you visit a specific user's profile, you'll see a 'Performance' tab. Once you enter it, you'll see the data with the metrics you set up to track.

Appearance in Mobile App

Employees can easily stay updated on their progress and performance within the Connecteam app by tracking their performance indicators in their profile.

To access this:

  1. Head to your profile, located at the bottom of the Feed.

  2. Scroll down to view your Performance Indicators.

  3. Your employee can track their performance by week, year, or even custom date ranges by selecting the desired view at the top of the Performance page.

4. You're also able to see the breakdown for any date range by clicking on the unit within that view

5. It's also possible to see any changes made by clicking on the activity button at the top right

**The number of key indicators you can create depends on your business plan: Basic (2), Advanced (6), Expert (9), and unlimited for higher-tier plans.**
