What you typically send from Connecteam to ADP
Depending on the ADP integration you set up, Connecteam can transfer:
Hours by pay rules - for example: regular, overtime, double overtime
Hours by jobs - with an optional breakdown by sub-jobs
Paid time off (PTO) - for example: vacation, sick leave, other PTO hours
Please note: ADP may require a paid connector purchased through the ADP Marketplace to enable the integration.
What you typically send from ADP to Connecteam
Connecteam supports the options to sync users from ADP (Run, Workforce Now, or Workforce Now Next Gen) into Connecteam, the integration can automatically import and update employee data based on what’s stored in ADP. Typical information synced from ADP to Connecteam includes:
New users - Users created in ADP are pulled into Connecteam as new profiles (pending approval).
Updated user information - Changes to personal or contact fields in ADP (like name or phone) appear in Connecteam for approval.
Archived users - Users removed or archived in ADP are also archived in Connecteam.
Mapped user fields - Core fields such as first name, last name, mobile phone, and any additional ADP fields you choose

Conneteam also supports receiving employees' payslips from ADP platforms to Connecteam, so payslips are visible to Connecteam's users on the mobile app.

Direct Integrations
ADP Run
Choose this option if your organization uses RUN Powered by ADP and you want to export from Connecteam directly into ADP RUN.
ADP requires purchasing an ADP RUN connector through the ADP Marketplace (listed as $5/month).
Before exporting hours, you must disable the ADP Time Management app in ADP.
In Connecteam, go to Time Clock → Settings → Integrations, select ADP Run, and click Connect to begin matching users and payroll items.
You can choose whether to export hours only or hours + pay rates during setup (if enabled in Connecteam).

ADP Workforce Now
Choose this option if your organization uses ADP Workforce Now (not Next Gen) and you want a direct export from Connecteam to ADP.
ADP requires purchasing the ADP WFN connector through the ADP Marketplace (listed as $5/month).
In Connecteam, you’ll navigate to Time Clock → Settings → Integrations, find ADP WFN, and click Connect to start the setup.

ADP WFN Canada
Choose this option if your payroll runs in ADP WFN Canada and you want to streamline payroll by connecting the two systems.
ADP requires the connector to be purchased through the ADP Marketplace (listed as $5/month).
After purchasing the connector, you’ll complete the integration steps to enable exporting timesheets into ADP.

ADP Workforce Now Next Gen
Choose this option if your organization uses ADP Workforce Now (not Next Gen) and you want a direct export from Connecteam to ADP.

Export Templates
ADP Workforce Now Export Template
Choose this option if you prefer exporting a formatted CSV from Connecteam and uploading/importing it into ADP Workforce Now.
You’ll export timesheets from Connecteam using the ADP Workforce Now Export Template format.
This is a great option if you want a structured file export workflow instead of a direct connector-based flow.
