Welcome to the Chat feature! Here you will be able to easily communicate with your coworkers and effortlessly share media and files. It is available on both the app and the desktop. In this article, we will go over how to use the chat on both!

How to Use the Chat from the Mobile App

  1. Access your company's app. Click here to learn how.

  2. Enter the Chat feature

Here, you will see all the chat conversations you are a part of. Easily search for a specific chat conversation using the search bar at the top of the screen.

To start a new chat (single or team chat) click the + sign at the top right corner of the screen, and select the relevant users. (If you do not see this option, it means your admin has disabled this capability)

Quick Actions In the Mobile Chat

There are some quick actions you can take as well by giving a long click on a specific chat conversation. Check out how this looks below.

You can mark a conversation as unread/read (when marked as unread a blue dot will show to the right of the chat conversation).

You can archive/unarchive a chat conversation.

💡 Tip: All archived chats can be found by clicking on the box at the top right corner of the screen.

You can mute/unmute the notifications for the conversation. A conversation that has its notifications muted will display a gray bell next to the chat's name.

You can pin important conversations to the top of the screen by selecting pin conversation. A pinned conversation will have an icon of a pin by it.

Press and hold on a message to reply to a specific chat message or forward a message.

Accessing the Chat from Anywhere on the Platform

To make things more efficient for you, the chat can be easily accessed from anywhere on the platform by clicking the chat bubble on the top right corner of the screen. The chat will pop out and you can respond without leaving the page you are currently on. This means that you can for example continue filling out that form, while still being to answer your coworkers or respond to your manager. It doesn't get better than that!
