Time Clock: How to View Approved Time Off on Timesheets

Connecteam's time off feature allows you to manage all things related to paid and unpaid time off with no manual calculations. It is also entirely transparent to managers and employees. As part of an all-and-one solution, the time off feature integrates with the Time Clock, letting managers see the approved time in their employee's timesheets making payroll a breeze. In this article, we will go through how to do just that!

Step by Step: How to View Approved Time Off on the Timesheets

Step 1: Access to the time clock on the left sidebar

Step 2: Enter the relevant time clock and click on the timesheets tab.

Right away at the top, you'll be able to see a quick overview of the number of hours that were paid and unpaid time off for all your employees during the current pay period.

Step 3: Select the relevant user to access their timesheets

Once inside the timesheet, you will be able to see any approved time off for that user's current pay period. Take a look at how this looks below.

If you need to delete a time off this can easily be done directly from the timesheet. Simply select the relevant entry, click on either the 'Start' or 'End' field, click on the three dots and select 'Reject'.

If you need to add time off to an employee's timesheet, this can also be done using the time off button in the top right.

Pro tip: If you want to see approved time off for a different payroll period, or for specific dates you can simply adjust the date range.
