Yes, you can see if a user has read your message!
In individual chats, when you notice two checkmarks adjacent to a sent message, it means that the message has been read.
In team chats, to see who read your message simply click on the check mark on the right side of the message. This will display a list detailing who has read your message and who hasn't.

Please note that you will only be able to check who viewed a message that you sent yourself.
