Steps to Troubleshoot Missing Quick Tasks

If you are unable to locate some or any of your Quick Tasks, you’ve reached the right place! In this article, we’ll show you how to self-troubleshoot the issue.

Step 1: Check the Date Range

Ensure that the selected date range includes tasks. For example, if you created quick tasks in February but are viewing a date range in March, the tasks may not appear. To change the selected date range, click on the date picker found next to the filters, and highlight the relevant dates.

Step 2: Check the Date Picker

By default, tasks are filtered based on their creation date, with a default view of the past 30 days. If you are unable to view your tasks, this may be because you are trying to view them according to their start date or due date, however you did not change the date picker. In order to resolve this, make sure to select the relevant date picker. For example, if you have a few tasks starting tomorrow, you can filter by Start date in order to view them all in order.

Step 3: Check the All Tasks Tab

If tasks were added by the account owner or other admins but you can't see them, you may be viewing the Tasks Created By Me tab instead of the All Tasks tab. If the All Tasks tab is missing, it’s likely due to permission restrictions, as access to this tab requires separate permissions from the general Quick Tasks feature.

Step 4: Check the Filters

If you see an indication that several tasks exist, however you are unable to view any of them, this could mean you have a filter enabled. To check this, click on the three lines next to the Group by tab, and remove the filter if it exists.

Step 5: Make Sure the Task Isn't Archived or Deleted

If you were previously able to view a task but it no longer appears, the task may have been accidentally archived or deleted by you or one of the account admins or owners. Make sure to check the Archived tab to ensure the task is not there.

Step 6: Contact Support
