How to Use the Time Clock and Manage Your Hours

Welcome to the employee guide on using the Time Clock feature!
The Time Clock helps you accurately track your work time, ensure correct payment, and manage your shifts and requests — all from your desktop or mobile app.

You can:

  • Clock in and out of shifts

  • Request time off or shift edits

  • View and export timesheets

  • Track breaks and review pay

💡 Note: While the video tutorial above explains how to use the feature from the mobile app, the same can also be done from the desktop.

Once you access the Time Clock from your desktop, you’ll see three main sections:

  • Requests – View, submit, and manage all shift, break, and time off requests.

  • Timesheet – View your worked hours, jobs, breaks, and approved time off. You can also export your timesheets.

I Can’t Clock In — What Should I Do?

If you can’t clock in, check these common issues:

  • I can’t see the Time Clock:
Your admin hasn’t assigned you to a time clock. Try reinstalling the app; if it still doesn’t appear, contact your admin.

  • I don’t see the job I need / “No jobs found”:
You might not be qualified for that job, or you may need to be at a certain location. Ask your admin to confirm.

  • It keeps asking for my location:
Your admin has enabled location tracking. Enable Location Services on your device to clock in.

  • Clock-in button is greyed out:
You may only clock in at your scheduled start time. The app will display how many minutes remain until clock-in becomes available.

  • Time clock is greyed out / “Nothing scheduled today”:
You have no assigned shift and your admin doesn’t allow unscheduled clock-ins. Contact your admin.

  • Message: “Can’t clock in. This day was locked by your admin.”
Your timesheets have been approved and locked. Contact your admin to reopen them if changes are needed.
