Connecteam’s integration with RUN Powered by ADP lets you send employee hours straight to payroll - fully calculated and ready to run.
Using the pay rates and rules defined in Connecteam, total payable amounts are calculated automatically for each employee and can be transferred directly into ADP's payroll, saving time and reducing manual payroll work.
Why is this important?
ADP RUN supports up to 5 different pay rates per employee.
In Connecteam, you can set unlimited hourly pay rates (for example: per job/sub-job) and apply overtime + pay rules.
Then, when you export to ADP RUN, Connecteam sends the final calculated pay amount—so you don’t have to rely on ADP's calculation.

How Are Pay Rates Transferred to ADP RUN?
When you export timesheets from Connecteam to RUN Powered by ADP (ADP RUN), you can choose to “include pay rates".
This is not a pay rate sync. Instead, Connecteam sends ADP RUN the calculated pay result (the total pay amount per earning line) based on your Connecteam rules—so ADP RUN can use that amount in the payroll run.
Please note that transferring pay rates from Connecteam does not overwrite the pay rates saved in ADP; it only applies to the specific payroll run you’re exporting.

What “including pay rates” means (and what it doesn’t)
What it means
When enabled, Connecteam can export:
Hours and the corresponding pay calculation for:
Pay rules (like Regular, Overtime, Double Overtime)
PTO policies
Jobs (if you export hours by job)
What it does NOT mean
It does not update or overwrite the employee’s saved hourly rate in ADP RUN.
It does not create a permanent rate sync between systems.
How To Export timesheets to ADP RUN
In Time Clock, open the Timesheets tab.
Select the relevant date range and/or filter for the users you wish to export.
Click Export.
Select Export to ADP Run.
In ADP RUN, verify the imported entries in your payroll run.
Troubleshooting common issues
I don’t see the option to include pay rates.
Enable Pay Rates in General Settings (Pay Rate Settings), and confirm you have permission to manage pay rates.
Pay amounts transferred, but the ADP “Rate” didn’t change.
This is expected. The transfer applies to the payroll run totals and does not overwrite stored ADP rates.
I get an error about unmatched items when exporting.
This usually means you added new users, jobs/sub-jobs, or PTO policies after setup. Open Export to ADP Run settings and match the new items, then complete setup again.
