Our Live Polls is a capability found in the Updates feature in our platform.

They are a fun and interactive way of gathering information from your employees and to get the them engaged. You can choose to start creating one from scratch or to select a template from our library, there's plenty to go around! You'll be surprised of easy it is to gather insights and opinions from your employees.

Our Live Polls allow you to measure the workplace in real-time so you can get a sense of where your employees are and to gain feedback on any matter, whether it’s a serious matter or just a fun question to raise engagement among your employees!

To publish a live poll, follow this steps:

Step 1: navigate to the "Updates" category on your side bar and click on the "Add New" button on the top right corner of the page:

Step 2: When the "New update creation" page will appear, choose between the "Start from scratch" option or the "Use a template" option.

Step 3: On the "Update page", you decide what type of content you want to upload. In this case, click on "Live poll".

Step 4: The Poll option settings will appear. Write the desired poll question in the update box where it says 'Write your update…' and type the poll predefined answers under the "Poll option" boxes located beneath (See image below). You can add as many options as you wish!

Step 5: Once you have created your poll, you may control the poll settings by clicking and tapping the "Poll settings" button. Settings will let you 'allow multiple selection', 'make votes anonymous', or 'show results only after voting'.

Step 6: Once you setup the poll settings, click the "Next" button in order to assign the poll to the relevant audience (whether specific users, groups or all your team)

Step 7: The publish settings will appear next. Customize the settings to best meet your needs and click "Next" when ready.

Step 8: Click "Confirm" and that's it! Your Live Poll is publish and good to go. Don't forget to check on your results!

Pro tip: On the publish update section you can schedule to remove the Live Poll from your feed when it becomes irrelevant or passed the due date of the event it relates to!
