Chat reactions let users respond (or “react”) to a message without sending a reply. They’re a simple way to show support or excitement in group chats; without overwhelming the conversation with extra messages.
Send a chat reaction from the desktop
To send a reaction on desktop:
Hover over the message you want to react to.
Click the emoji face in the dropdown menu.
Select your reaction.
Send a chat reaction from the mobile app
To send a reaction on mobile:
Press and hold the message you want to react to.
When the reaction menu appears, tap an emoji to react.
To use any emoji available on your device:
Press and hold the message.
Tap the + button (next to the emoji options at the top).
Choose any emoji from your mobile keyboard.
