Managing the Celebration Settings
Once in the celebration settings, you will find two tabs: General and Notifications. Let's break down the available actions in each tab. After making your adjustments, always remember to click Save for the changes to be implemented!
Let's begin to break down the available settings:
General
In the General tab of the celebration settings, you can determine which events will be celebrated: Birthdays and/or Work Anniversaries.
Once you decide what events will be activated and automatically celebrated, you can decide who will be able to view celebrations by selecting one of these two options:
Users can view everyone’s celebrations - This option is ideal if you want celebratory days to be visible to everyone in the company, fostering a tight-knit culture among all employees.
Users can only view the celebrations of users with the same X - This option is perfect if you want to limit visibility to users within the same branch, department, or other defined groups. It's especially useful for larger companies.
Notifications
In the Notifications tab of the celebration settings, you can determine if you wish to be notified about your colleague's celebrations to ensure you remember to react to the post on the feed and even congratulate them in person in the office.
Simply toggle on the option Notify me about celebrating colleagues for the mobile app, and then you will be notified when a colleague is celebrating their birthday or work anniversary.
