The maximum file size for video uploads in Connecteam's chat feature is 64MB.

If your video exceeds this limit, here are some alternative options:

Upload as a File Attachment

Instead of uploading the video as a video attachment, you can upload it as a file. This allows you to share larger video files without size restrictions, whether you are an admin or a user.

Share the Video as a Link

You can easily upload a video to your preferred cloud storage (e.g., Google Drive) and generate a shareable link. Simply paste the link into the chat to share the video with your team. This option is available for both Admins and Users.

Use the Update Feature

In the Updates feature, you can upload videos up to 200MB, making it a great option for sharing larger videos with your team. The video will also appear in the company feed, allowing you to track and review who has watched it and the comments they have left.

Updates can be shared by Admins. If you’re a user and your admin has enabled the User Post option, you’ll also have the ability to create and share your own posts.

💡Tip: Want to make sure your employees see the video update? Enable the Pop-Up Updates feature when creating your update! This will display a pop-up message prompting employees to review the update as soon as they open the app.
