If you're unable to view or schedule employees in Connecteam as an admin, either from your mobile or desktop, this article will help you troubleshoot common scheduling visibility issues and guide you through solutions to keep your operations running smoothly.
The types of issues you might encounter are:
Issue 1: I Can't Schedule Employees Despite Seeing Users Schedule in the Mobile App
The first type of issue you may encounter when reviewing your Job Scheduler from the mobile app is that you viewed the schedule from your User view and not the Admin tab.
This means you saw your employees' schedules from the 'Everyone' tab as a user, so you couldn't add shifts, as seen in the example below.
To resolve this, click on the Admin icon on the right> select the Job Scheduler you want to add shifts to, and you'll be able to add shifts for your employees.
If you still can't schedule from the Admin tab on your mobile app, verify your admin permissions by checking with your direct manager or account owner to ensure you have access to both view and add schedules.

Issue 2: I Cannot See Employees in the Dashboard (Only Myself) - Unable to Schedule
Managing Smart Groups and Users
The first type of issue you may encounter when reviewing your Job Scheduler from the dashboard is that you haven't been assigned to any Smart Groups. This is why you can only see yourself and cannot view your employees.
To resolve this:
Go to the Admin tab in the User section
Under the Managed Groups section, see from the menu which Smart Groups are assigned to you as an admin
If you don't have permission to a smart group, contact your direct manager or the account owner so you are assigned to the groups you need to manage.
The second type of issue you may encounter when reviewing your Job Scheduler from the dashboard is that you are an admin of a Smart Group that includes only yourself, with no other users, which is why you can't see your employees in the Smart Group. This means you can't schedule anyone but yourself.
For example, when Sara was assigned to the 'Type A Driver' Smart Group and saw only herself, she couldn't schedule other Type A drivers.
