Shortcuts- Insert Internal Links into User's Shifts

Insert an internal link into users' shifts saving them time and effort finding shift-related content in the app.

Do you ever find yourself reminding your employees to fill out their daily forms after they complete their shifts? Or perhaps, go over relevant training, and fill out a survey during or after their shift? With our new schedule Shortcut capability, you can now insert an internal link through the user's shifts sending the users directly to the relevant content with a click of a button. Managers can use this capability both through the dashboard or on the go via the mobile app.

How to Insert Shortcuts Into shifts From the Dashboard

Shortcuts are internal links that can be added to a variety of features such as a shift or a task. To insert them into the shift follow these steps:

  1. Access the "Job Scheduler" category on the left of your sidebar.

  2. Once entering the Schedule lobby press on the "Access Schedule"

  3. Create a shift for an individual user or a group shift, or edit an exciting shift

  4. In the "Notes" section, press on the " Attach" tab.

  5. Once the attachments options appear, click on the "shortcuts" tab

  6. Select the relevant content you wish to insert into the user's shift

  7. Don't forget to click on publish, in order to notify your team about their new shift, or save it as a draft.

Your users have now been assigned to a shift with an internal link to the relevant content in the app!

The Shortcuts can be added from various features: Chat, Updates, Quizzes, Time Clock, Forms, Job Schedule, Forms, Quick Tasks, Courses, Events, Knowledge Base, Rewards, Documents, Recognitions, Recognitions, Celebrations, and more!

How to Insert Shortcuts Into Shifts From the App

  1. Enter the mobile app and press on the "Admin tab" at the bottom left

  2. Once there, select the "Job Scheduling" feature.

  3. Click on the "Add shift" tab located at the bottom of the page

  4. Once creating the shift, press on the pin icon located in the " Attachment" section

  5. Once the drop-down appears, click on "Shortcuts".

  6. Select the relevant content you wish to insert into the user's shift

  7. Don't forget to click on publish, in order to notify your users about their new shift, or save it as a draft.

Once you add shortcuts to the shift, your employees will gain easy access to everything they need to go through their shifts smoothly and effortlessly, here is what it looks like from the Users View.
