With our Shortcut capability, you can send internal links through the update feature sending the users directly to the relevant content with a click of a button. Adding shortcuts provides efficiency and convenience for your Connecteam employees and ensures that users can quickly access any information connected to the update without spending time searching for it! This enhances communication and productivity within teams ultimately improving efficiency and overall workflow.
Im this article we will go over how managers can add shortcuts to an update both from the admin dashboard and from the mobile app and how shortcuts look for your employees!
How to Add a Shortcut to an Update via the Dashboard:
Access the updates category on the left of your sidebar.
Once entering the updates lobby press on the "Add new" tab and select the ""start from scratch" option.
Once on the update creation page, write any update you wish followed by pressing on the "Shortcuts" tab located on the bottom right.
Select the relevant Folder, followed by the content you wish to have users going to.
Once selecting your shortcut press on the "Next" tab.
Select the relevant users you wish to assign this shortcut to, and follow the sending funnel.
How to Add a Shortcut to an Update via the Mobile App:
Enter the mobile app and press on the "Admin" tab
Once there, select the "Updates" feature.
Click on the "Create new update" tab located at the bottom of the page
Write your update, and click on the Shortcuts tab.
Select the relevant Folder, followed by the content you wish to have users going to.
Press on the "Publish" tab located at the top of the page
Select the relevant users you wish to assign this shortcut to and follow the sending funnel
User View from the Mobile App:
Once you created the update that has a shortcut, the users will be able to see this in the feed tab via the mobile app.
