To customize the settings to allow Clocking In through the Kiosk App exclusively, follow these steps:
Access the Time Clock feature from the left sidebar
Click on Access clock
Click on Settings and navigate to the Clock in & out tab
You will find the section titled 'How users clock in' and find two sections, please make sure to select the Kiosk option only for each of them
Click on Save Changes
All done - users are now only able to clock in via the Kiosk app exclusively!
When you set up your Time Clock settings this way, users will only be able to access the time clock's clock-in button through the Kiosk App. If they access the clock through their mobile app or PC, they will not have access to the clock-in button. Take a look at the image below showcasing the difference of how it will look from the Kiosk App vs the Mobile App.
Note that, from the mobile app, they will still be able to add a shift/break request, add time off requests, view their submitted requests, and view/edit their timesheets (if given the right permissions).
