Is It Possible To See The Edit History In An Employee's Timesheet?

Learn how to read your timesheets to understand when edits have been made and by who

Currently, it isn't possible to see the complete edit history of timesheets apart from the blue and orange dot indications which we will go over below. We are however always trying to improve Connecteam. Adding the ability to view a complete edit history of timesheets is a feature request on our roadmap, and you can give your feedback and add your vote to that feature using this link.

Now, let's go over what you can see:

When looking at employees' timesheets there can be a blue dot indicating that the entry was created by an admin, or there can be an orange dot indicating that the entry was modified by an admin. If you hover over the dots it will tell you who made an edit and when. Take a look at how this looks below:


💡Tip: You can prevent edits from being made by either locking or approving a time sheet. However, please note that if you approve a timesheet, the entire range of days in the sheet will be locked and this will prevent any future changes, including clock-ins. Locking day(s) allows you to choose which specific days should be locked.
