Quizzes are powerful tools for evaluating and improving employees' knowledge of important company matters. With Connecteam, you can customize the quiz settings to meet your needs. You can set the passing score, determine how many times employees can attempt the quiz, decide whether to provide immediate feedback on their answers and much more. Let's explore the settings together!
This article will cover:

Managing the Quiz Settings
Once in the quiz settings, you can edit the quiz name at the top, set the scoring, customize the quiz behavior in the mobile app, and define any limitations. After making your adjustments, always remember to click Confirm to save the changes!
Let's begin to break down the available settings:
Quiz Scoring
Users will need to get a score of X to pass the quiz — Questions will be scored equally, ranging from 1-100. With this setting, you can set the exact passing score.
Show users their final score once they finish the quiz — when you toggle on this option, users will understand their final score and whether or not they've passed.
Take a look at the example below where both settings are enabled, and we’ve set the passing score to 80. This is what the user will see when they fail the quiz and when they pass it.
Quiz Behavior in Mobile App
You can toggle on and off any of the following options:
Let users know if they answered correctly/incorrectly after each question — by toggling on this option, users will understand exactly what answers they got right and wrong and then focus on improving those they got wrong.
If the answer is incorrect show the correct answer — by toggling on this option, you can also educate and help your users while they take the quiz. Please note that this option can only be activated if the previous one is also activated.
Randomize the order of the questions for each user — this option helps ensure that users complete the quiz independently and makes it harder for them to share answers, as the order of questions will differ for each user.
Quiz Limitations
Limit the attempts to pass the quiz per user to X — this setting allows you to ensure users do the quiz only when prepared and take it more seriously since they will not be able to retake it after the number of times you choose. See the example illustrated below when a user only has one attempt left to pass the quiz and when the user is out of tries.
Limit the quiz submission by date — with this setting, you can pick any date of your choice and not allow users to make any submissions past this date. This is especially useful to ensure you keep up with the set dates and everyone is in sync.
*the ability to set the passing score is available from the Basic plan under the HR hub and above*
