Once your schedule is ready, you can make it easily available to anyone, by printing it. You can print a physical copy and display it in the office or save it as a PDF and send it via email to clients, sites, contractors, and more.
How to Print the Schedule
Access the Job Schedule lobby on the desktop from the left sidebar
Click on Access schedule
Then click on Actions and choose Print Week
A customization window will pop up, allowing you to choose the information you want to include in the final document. Let's take a closer look at the specific details you can select:
Details originated from the job scheduler
Published shifts
Draft shifts
Unavailabilities
Prefer to work
Time Off
Empty rows
Unassigned shifts
Remove users column (agenda view)
Additional user details (any of the existing user details you have such as Employment Start Date, Birthday, Department, etc)
Once you have made your selection and customized it to your liking, click on Download
💡Pro tip: We highly suggest you try the Agenda View by selecting the option 'Remove users column (agenda view)'. It will remove the leading column on the left (whether it is by users, jobs, or layers) and everyone's schedules will be merged for a cleaner general overview of the week. This is what it will look like:
Viewing Options for Printing the Schedule
You can print the schedule in any of our viewing options: Users, Jobs, or Layers.
User's View: To print the schedule in the user's view make sure you select the 'View by users' and then continue to print the week.
Job's View: To print the schedule in the jobs view make sure you select the 'View by jobs' option and then continue to print the week.
Layers View: To print the schedule in the layers view make sure you select the 'View by iPad' option, for example, and then select the print week. Keep in mind this view will only appear as an option if you have any Shift Layers created and, the name of the view, will also depend on your setup.
That's it! The file will be downloaded to your computer’s Downloads folder.
Please note: The option to print the schedule is only available when using the weekly view. On the daily and monthly view, you have the option to export the schedule.
*Print Week is available from the Operations Basic plan*
