Surveys are an excellent, great way to gather your employees' opinions and honest thoughts on various matters. You can measure employee satisfaction, match employees' benefits with needs, or find out how your employees feel about their team. Let's take a look at how to create one!

To create a survey:

  1. Access the Survey feature from the left sidebar

  2. Click on + Add new

  3. Choose between starting one from scratch or using a template

  4. Enter a name and a description (optional)

  5. Then, check the box if you want it to be anonymous and hit Confirm

  6. Customize it by adding the fields you need - descriptions, dropdown, open-ended, and ratings

  7. When you are ready, click on Save as a template if you'd like to use it again in the future and then Save changes

  8. Decide its assignments - either smart groups or selected users

  9. Confirm and publish it!

  10. All done

💡Tip: If you want to get your users opinions anonymously then no problem! Check out this article on how you can create an anonymous survey.

Please note at the moment creating surveys and viewing their entries is only available from the admin dashboard.

How a Survey Appears For an Employee in The Mobile App

If a notification has been set for the survey, your employees will receive it on their mobile device and will be directed straight to the Survey asset in the app.

Even without a notification, employees can easily access and complete surveys by following these steps:

  1. Open the Connecteam mobile app.

  2. On the Feed, scroll down to the bottom and tap on Assets.

  3. In the Assets section, scroll to locate the Survey asset.

  4. Tap on the survey they need to fill out.
