If you are tracking time with our Time Clock and want to receive confirmation that a client has made a payment for the job done then we highly suggest using a shift attachment. By setting the shift attachment as required, you can have the employee confirm that the client has made a payment, and even upload a picture of it when they finish a job and clock out.
There are even a few options for shift attachments you can implement, let's go over all of them together!
How To Create the Shift Attachment
Access the Time Clock feature from the left sidebar
Click on Access Clock
Click on Settings and navigate to the Shift Attachments tab
Click on the + Add attachment button
It's now time to fill out the details of the shift attachment and choose which attachment type you want to use (we will elaborate on our suggestions for which one to use below)
Please remember to set it as Required
Then select Done and Save Changes
If they try to finish their shift without completing the shift attachment, they won't be able to complete their shift, and the field will be highlighted in red.
How Each of Our Suggestions Will Look Like
We encourage you to either use one of the following options or perhaps combine two of them, whatever suits your needs best.
Option #1: Dropdown
This is a good choice if all you want is for your employee to personally confirm whether or not the client has paid with an easy click.

Option #2: Signature
This is a good choice if you'd like for the clients themselves to add their signature before the user clocks out to finish their shift.

Option #3: Image or File Attachment Option
This is a good choice if you'd like to receive an actual file or image of the payment confirmation to be attached to the shift itself.

How the Admin Will View the Payment Confirmation
Once your user has clocked out and completed the shift attachment you've created, you will be able to view the payment confirmation with a few simple steps.
Access the Time Clock feature from the left sidebar
Click on Access Clock
Now go into the Timesheets tab, find the user who has clocked out, and click on their timesheet to access it.
Once you have accessed it, hover all the way to the right side until you reach the section Shift Attachment, and you will find a column for the attachment you've created and the employee's payment confirmation. In the example below, you will see how the Dropdown option is displayed.
All done - you now know if the job was paid for or not!
