Updates are a great way to engage with employees and interact on various topics. Tracking engagement is essential for understanding who has viewed the update and who hasn't, as well as analyzing engagement statistics. With Connecteam's updates feature, you can see in real-time who has viewed your update and send notifications to those who haven't. This helps boost employee engagement and makes your job much easier.
In this article, we'll cover:
Group Users By
When viewing the list of all users who are assigned to the update, you have the option to segment them in order to compare between groups, branches or any other drop down field! Simply scroll down until you see the list of all assigned users, and click on the Group by tab.
You can group users using smart groups or the custom user detail fields created on the Users page. This allows you to easily compare engagement across different segments, for example, identifying which branch has viewed and interacted with an update the most.
Filtering the Users Status in the Update
By entering the updates on your desktop account and scroll down to receive an overview of your employee's engagement with the update.
Using the filter on the left, you can also check which employees have viewed and who haven't viewed the update.
💡Tip: Like most things in connecteam, you can also export these results by clicking on the export button in the right hand corner.
Send Push Notifications to Users that Haven't Viewed an Update.
If an employee hasn't yet viewed the update, you can resend it by sending a push notification to them.
You can also use the "actions" option (which appears after selecting users from the list) in order to open a chat or a dedicated task with the users that did not view the update.
