Learn How to Send Text Message Notifications for Updates

Having company updates is a key Connecteam capability for keeping your team informed and engaged. For critical communications like safety briefings, mandatory meetings, and deadline reminders, you can ensure these updates reach employees directly through text message notifications, providing both immediate delivery and compliance tracking.

To send a text message notification for an update, follow these steps:

  1. Start by creating an update - navigate to the Updates feature on your left sidebar.

  2. Click Add new

  3. You can choose from one of our templates or create your own.

  4. Type your update. You can choose different decorative backgrounds or use the color wheel to customize your color so it perfectly matches your brand. Choose an attachment or a few, and when finished, click next.

  5. Assign the content to smart groups or select employees.

  6. In the publishing settings - you can customize how to notify your employees. you will have two options to notify employees via text messages

Option 1: Notify all Employees Via Text Message About the Update.

Simply check 'Notify Users' and select your preferred notification method: email, text message, or both.

Option 2: Notify Employees Who Haven't Viewed the Update By a Specific Date Via Text Message.
