The Auto Clock Out feature helps keep timesheets accurate and prevents unauthorized overtime. If an employee forgets to clock out manually, you can configure them to be clocked out automatically after a set amount of time.

Auto Clock Out can be configured in three ways:

  • By daily limit (after a maximum number of hours)

  • By shift end time (clock out at the end of each shift)

  • By a set time per day (specific daily cutoff time)

Disable Auto Clock Out by Daily Limit

To disable Auto Clock Out when it’s set by a daily limit:

  1. Go to the relevant Time Clock.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Open the General tab.

  4. Uncheck the Auto-Clock Out setting.

Disable Auto Clock Out By Limitations

To disable Auto Clock Out when it’s set in the Limitations tab:

  1. Go to the relevant Time Clock.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Open the Limitations tab.

  4. Uncheck Auto clock out at the end of a shift..

Disable Auto Clock Out By Days

Under Limitations in the Time Clock settings, you can limit how users clock in and out by specific days.

To disable this day-based limitation:

  1. Go to the relevant Time Clock.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Open the Limitations tab.

  4. Scroll down to the days section.

  5. Deselect the relevant days.
