How Can I Change the Admin of a Smart Group?

Assigning admins to specific Smart Groups enables you to specify which users the admins can access on the platform. Throughout the platform, admins will only view users who belong to the smart groups for which they have admin permissions. They will also only have visibility into timesheets, forms, and other content submitted by those specific users.

You can change the admin of a Smart Group by following these steps:

Step 1: Head over to the Smart Groups tab and enter the Smart Group that you would like to change the admin of. The option to edit admins of the Smart Group will be indicated by the avatars at the top of the screen

Step 2: Toggle off 'Automatically add all admins to this asset". If this is toggled on each admin will automatically be added as an administrator on the group. Once you have completed this step, you can manually add or remove admins from the list.

Step 3: Select the admin you would like to add and remove the current one. Great Job! You have officially changed the admin of your Smart Group.
