No. Currently, it's not possible to do this. But this capability is on our roadmap, so feel free to add your vote to this feature request to push it forward!

In the meantime, you can use some of our other capabilities to ensure more accuracy when using users' timesheets. Let's go over a few options!

Only Allow Users to Clock Into Scheduled Shifts

The first way you can ensure more accuracy between a user's scheduled shifts and their timesheets is by only allowing them to clock into scheduled shifts and disabling their ability to clock in freely any time of the day. To do this:

  1. Access the Time Clock Settings

  2. Navigate to the Clock in & out tab

  3. Toggle on the option 'Users clock into scheduled shifts' and toggle off the option 'Users can clock in without scheduled shifts'

  4. Then, navigate to the Limitations tab and enable the Clock in limitation, decide if Users can only clock in within their scheduled shifts or if Users can clock in up to X minutes before their assigned shift starts.

  5. Finally, save changes.

Enable Auto Clock Out

The second way you can ensure more accuracy between a user's scheduled shifts and their timesheets is by using the auto clock-out capability. This ensures that users are always clocked out of their shifts as soon as they are over, and you never have to worry about them forgetting.

This capability is also enabled from the Time Clock Settings under the Limitations tab, as illustrated below.

Compare the Scheduled vs Actual Hours

The third way to ensure more accuracy between a user's scheduled shifts and their timesheets is to use the scheduled vs. actual hours capability.

Once your employees clock in/out of their shifts, you can access their timesheets, compare their scheduled shifts to the recorded hours, and make manual adjustments from your end. See the example below.
