What Affects the Order in which Users Appear on the List When Assigning Users to a New Shift?

When you create a shift and you want to select users to assign the shift to, Connecteam helps you choose the most relevant users based on their availability levels. Meaning, the order of the users in the list is affected by whether your employees prefer to work, are available to work, or are unavailable to work for the span of the shift's hours.

First on the list are users who have set "prefer to work", next are the users who are available (users that have not set unavailable nor prefer to work status), and last are users who have set themselves as "unavailable".

As you can see in the example, Phyllis appears first on the list, in green, because she has set "prefer to work" on this day, while Michael appears last on the list, in red, because he has set himself unavailable this day:
