When deleting an employee or archiving from the platform, it's important to understand what will happen to the tokens you've given them so you know what to expect.

What happens to the tokens of an archived user?
Archiving a user does not affect their tokens. When you restore the user, they will regain access to the token balance they used to have and can use it.
What happens to the tokens of a deleted user?
It depends on whether or not the user has claimed the tokens they were gifted. Let's first understand how to view if a user has claimed their tokens or not and what happens in each case if they are deleted.
To check the status of tokens:
Access the Rewards feature from the left sidebar
Navigate to the Sent tokens tab
Find the relevant user who has been deleted or whom you wish to delete and hover over the Status column. Here, you'll learn if the user has already claimed their tokens.
Now that you know how to understand the status of a user's tokens, let's go over what happens in each case:
If you delete a user who hasn't claimed their tokens yet, you can quickly recuperate them and add them back to the company's balance. To do so, access the Rewards feature, navigate to the "Sent tokens" tab, hover over the "Status" column, and click on the "Cancel" icon.
If you delete a user who has already claimed their tokens, the process is a bit different. When you delete the user, a pop-up message will prompt you to enter the employee's email address:
Once you enter their email address, you can click on "Send and delete user". The user will be deleted and also sent an email with a redemption link for the remaining tokens in their balance to their email inbox:
