The Recognitions feature is a great and easy-to-use way to recognize your employees' hard work, accomplishments, and more while promoting company values! Admins can manually send recognitions to their employees at any time in two different ways. The first way is directly from inside the user's profile, and the second way, which we'll focus on in this article, is from the feature itself.

How to Send a Recognition
Admins can send recognition to their users from the feature, either from their admin dashboard or the mobile app's admin tab. Please note: only the admins with the relevant admin permissions can send users recognitions. To send a recognition from the admin dashboard:
Access the Recognitions feature from the left sidebar
Click on Send Recognitions from the top right
Choose the recipient(s). Once you've made your selection, go to the Next step.
Create the recognition:
Select the badge - quickly move through topics to pick the relevant badge or create a custom one.
Attach a message if you wish, where you can also include an image or a gif.
Decide who will be the sender: you, the company, or a custom publisher.
Select who the recognition will be visible to from the options:
"Only recipient"
"All users in the company"
"Select specific users" - if you choose this option, you can edit your selection below.
Then, continue to the Next step and set up the settings. Decide if the recognition recipients will receive a push notification and if you wish to allow users to like and comment.
Continue with the steps and then click on Send recognition.
How Recognitions Appear for Employees
Once recognition has been sent, the recipient(s) will get a push notification, depending on how you set it up. The recognition will be visible on the feed, where the recipient and all other users who were set up as allowed to view it will be able to see it, as illustrated below.
Understanding the Recognitions Activity
You can follow up and keep track of the recognition activity and understand when they were sent, by whom and to whom, what type of recognition it was its engagement, and more!
Keeping Track of Activity and Engagement
Once you've accessed the recognitions feature, you'll be able to view all its existing activity, including the following columns and information:
Sent to: The user(s) who received the recognition.
Type: The exact badge the user has been sent and recognized for.
Message: Displays any personalized message included by the admin when the recognition was sent.
Sent on: The date the recognition was sent.
Sent by: The admin who sent the recognition.
Viewers: Displays who can view the recognition, whether only the recipient(s), everyone in the company, or selected users.
Reactions: Shows the engagement, including comments and likes the recognition received.
Feel free to use the Filter capability to browse through and narrow down any specific recognitions that have been sent that you'd like to take a look at!
Editing and Deleting Sent Recognitions
If you or any other admin has made a mistake when sending a recognition, you can quickly fix it from the Recognitions Activity section. Find the relevant recognition and click on it. Then, click the edit icon in the top right corner to make adjustments and resend the recognition, or click the trash icon to delete it completely and start over.
