Perform Bulk Actions from the User Tab

Are you in a rush? Do you want to speed things up? We got you covered. With Connecteam's bulk action button, you can perform actions for multiple employees, all in one step instead of manually performing them for each employee individually.

How to access the Actions button

To access the bulk action button, click on the Users tab, and select the relevant users. Once you select them, the Actions button will pop up.

Available capabilities in the Actions button

Update user details

Quickly update your users' details by selecting 'Update user details'. Here you can select which field to update as well as the value of the new field. This is useful if you need to change information that's relevant for many users, such as their direct manager or their department.

Create a team chat

When you select 'Create team chat', it will allow you to create a chat group where the selected users can send messages and a variety of attachments to communicate with ease. All team members that are a part of the team chat will have the ability to see and respond to the messages.

Send a chat message

Select 'Send chat message' to send a separate chat message to each one of the users that have been selected. The same message will get sent separately to each user. This is useful if you want to send the same reminder to many users at once, but you want to make it personal and open a 1:1 conversation with each.

Send a text message

By clicking 'Send text message', you can send a text to the selected users.

Create a task

Create a Quick Task for selected users in just one click, from this screen. Yes, it's that easy and efficient! You can make it a group task or separate task for each user.

Tag Users

To quickly tag and identify your workforce, select 'Tag Users' from the menu. Using this option, you can select from existing tags, create new tags or manage tags. Tags can help you group users for temporary projects, or to create a group within another group.

Set pay rates

This tool allows you to update employees' wages all at once, and set the effective date for when this wage should go into effect. If you have a few employees who got a raise at the same time, and all need updating, this is a great tool for you!

Archive and delete users

Select 'Archive' or 'Delete' to easily remove multiple users at once from the system. Archiving users saves their records in the system for admins to re-enter for review at any time while deleting a user deletes all records and actions this user performed in the app.

💡 Tip: Use the Filter to narrow down the list of users only to the relevant branches, departments, or other defining fields. Once you do this, select all users by marking the check box and then choose which action to take.
